Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomy Sales professional to join our team at Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT. As an Agronomy Sales Representative, you will work closely with area growers to provide expert agronomic recommendations and help them increase their productivity and maximize their return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct soil and crop surveys to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement customized agronomic plans to meet the unique needs of each grower
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to growers to ensure they are achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of agronomic plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest agronomic research and technologies to provide expert advice to growers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in agronomy sales or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Western Nebraska crops, including corn, soybeans, and wheat
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong math and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agronomist currently residing in or working from Western Nebraska
  • Experience with computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
