Job Summary

We are seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty members to teach nursing courses at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and evaluating nursing students in a clinical, skills lab, or didactic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and evaluate nursing students in a clinical, skills lab, or didactic setting
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of nursing students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of nursing programs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Valid nursing license in Minnesota (and Wisconsin if clinicals are in Wisconsin)
  • 3 years of relevant experience in nursing
  • Experience in nursing education and/or precepting expertise
  • Excellent written and/or oral communication skills
  • Excellent management/supervisory skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Nursing (Masters or Doctorate-PhD, DNP or EdD)
  • Knowledge of CANVAS and ATI learning systems
