We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant to join our team at UF Health. This role will focus on providing high-quality patient care in a physician office setting, with a focus on annual wellness visits.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, including measuring and recording vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting healthcare providers with exams and procedures.
- Administer medications, process patient phone calls, and instruct patients on healthcare and treatments.
- Maintain medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, clinical faculty, and clinic managers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school or training program for Licensed Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant.
- One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
- Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or certification as a Medical Assistant.
- AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
