Job Title: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at The Village, a highly professional and engaging environment where associates can grow professionally and have a positive impact on the lives of seniors.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including monitoring their health status, administering medications, and implementing physician orders. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the health status of residents on a daily basis and implement interventions as needed.
  • Administer medications and implement physician orders in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and supervision to direct care associates, ensuring high-quality care and communication with the care team.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and instruct/oversee associates in safe and competent resident care as needed.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, families, and responsible parties to ensure proper follow-through and resident care needs.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid license in the State of Florida as an LPN or RN.
  • CPR certification or eligible.
  • One to three years' experience in a geriatric setting, i.e., skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, or geriatric acute care setting.
  • A genuine interest in working with the elderly in an assisted living setting.
  • Clearance from Human Resources for pre-employment screening, i.e., health, TB, and FDLE screening.
