GCP Infrastructure Migration Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a GCP Infrastructure Migration Specialist to lead our technical team in the successful migration of on-premises workloads to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a strong background in cloud services and infrastructure management, along with significant experience in public cloud migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and guide the migration team in transitioning x86 workloads to the GCP cloud environment.
2. Implement security measures and manage the infrastructure, including the creation of operational playbooks.
3. Manage Active Directory and related administrative tasks.
4. Collaborate with various internal teams to understand application use cases and ensure a seamless migration process.
5. Lead the design and migration of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) workloads to AWS Workspaces.
6. Drive critical projects and activities to successful completion, aligning with client expectations.

Required Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on data center migration to public cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
- Proven leadership in managing technical teams and executing cloud migration strategies.
- Strong understanding of GCP and AWS cloud services, with a preference for GCP certification.
- Experience in Windows and Active Directory administration.
- Familiarity with data center migration processes and cloud backup technologies.
