UnityPoint Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral and Mental Health Tech to join our team. As a key member of our Supported Community Living department, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with psychiatric, medical, housing, employment, and social goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs and develop personalized goals to promote independence in the community.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to explore alternative solutions to hospitalization, higher levels of care, homelessness, and incarceration.
  • Provide skills teaching and advocacy to support clients' needs, desires, and best interests.
  • Utilize critical thinking to make independent judgments and maintain responsibility and accountability for service provided.
  • Meet established revenue targets and continue professional development to enhance service provision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience with the population served (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
  • Ability to enter documentation in an EHR and use Microsoft Office.
