ROLE OF THE LEGAL ASSISTANT IN INSURANCE DEFENSE
As a Legal Assistant in the Insurance Defense sector, you will collaborate closely with attorneys to deliver essential administrative support. Your responsibilities will include drafting discovery letters and legal documents, filing motions, organizing exhibits, and managing client files efficiently. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
With a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, you will engage with clients, court personnel, and colleagues throughout your daily activities. While you thrive in an independent work environment, you also value teamwork and contribute to a cooperative atmosphere that prioritizes client service.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE LEGAL ASSISTANT POSITION
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting.
- Familiarity with court filing procedures and legal documentation.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and other relevant software.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
