Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee scheduling tasks for 3 to 5 concurrent projects
  • Guide and mentor junior schedulers
  • Monitor schedule impacts, create schedule fragnets, and perform time impact analyses
  • Conduct site visits with teams to verify project progress and identify potential issues
  • Utilize Primavera P6 Standalone
  • Provide regular updates and project narratives
  • Comprehend all project aspects, including drawings, contractual obligations, site conditions, and risks to project completion
  • Assist in training project team members to enhance their understanding of CPM scheduling

Future Responsibilities May Include:

  • Establishing and managing departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Creating Summary Schedules for Pre-Construction phases
  • Developing Baseline Schedules
  • Recruiting, hiring, and training new scheduling staff as the company expands
  • Assigning project tasks to the scheduling team
  • Monitoring project performance through executive dashboards
  • Analyzing project performance trends and formulating strategies for improvement
  • Preparing the annual departmental budget

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Field construction management experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years in Construction Management, including at least 5 years as a Planner/Scheduler; experience in Multifamily Construction is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience facilitating Construction Coordination meetings
  • Ability to assert leadership within the company
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license required
