About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Design & Sales Manager to join our team at Closet Factory of Sacramento. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading our sales efforts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Performance and Strategy
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
    • Pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and referrals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  2. Product Knowledge and Demonstration
    • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, manufacturing processes, and competitive advantages.
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Educate clients on product features, material options, and design trends.
  3. Client Service and Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and installation process.
    • Promptly address client concerns and resolve issues.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
  4. Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitive products.
    • Provide insights to management on customer preferences and market opportunities.
  5. Reporting and Metrics
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
    • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and metrics.
  6. Leadership and Team Development
    • Manage and mentor office staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in cabinetry, home improvement, or construction materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey technical information related to cabinetry design and manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing multiple client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in interior design, woodworking, or a related field.
  • Experience working with contractors, builders, or interior designers.
Work Environment:

This role may require travel to customer sites, showrooms, and industry events. A typical work week includes a mix of in-office tasks, client site visits, and travel within the designated territory.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 per year
