Job Summary

Mossy Automotive Group is a leading automotive retailer in Southern California, seeking an experienced automotive sales consultant to join our team. As a sales consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles, achieving unit volume quotas, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and prioritize tasks to achieve productive results.
  • Build relationships with customers and assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to their responses.
  • Be knowledgeable about product offerings, optional packages, and latest technology and aftermarket products and services.
  • Perform high-quality demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
  • Follow up with buyers to ensure referral business and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations, complying with all company, DMV, state, and federal requirements.
  • Directly report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year prior automotive sales experience.
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Ready to learn new product offerings and features.
  • Fantastic communication skills with customers.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance and work attire.
  • Clean driving record and valid CA driver's license.
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving on sales goals.
