Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Soliant in Logansport, IN. This full-time, onsite position involves working alongside speech-language pathologists to provide therapy services that help students improve their communication skills within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language therapy sessions, ensuring a high level of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and conduct therapy activities as directed by the SLP, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Document student progress and communicate updates to the supervising SLP, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Foster a positive and engaging environment that supports student success and participation, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field, with a strong foundation in communication disorders and therapy techniques.
  • Valid SLPA license in Indiana, with the ability to work in a school setting and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
