About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at LHC Group, a leading provider of post-acute care services. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient care needs and develop individualized therapy plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Assess patient's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests, and assist the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care.
  • Treat patients to communicate effectively, and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in areas of speech therapy in which they can participate.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of IN.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
