Mental Health Registered Nurse Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Brighton, MA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Mental Health unit. As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting assessments, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in therapeutic milieu activities, including patient education, group therapy, and recreational activities.
  • Conduct regular patient rounds, documenting progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
