Position Overview:


As an Access Management Specialist at Regions, you will collaborate across the organization with business and IT partners, as well as external service providers, to deliver Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) capabilities.

This role encompasses role-based access controls (RBAC), attribute-based access controls (ABAC), access review/certification, automated provisioning and de-provisioning, and access requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions.
  • Ensure solutions protect information resources against unauthorized use and inappropriate access.
  • Analyze and maintain data to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Oversee the maintenance, patching, operation, and monitoring of IAM systems.
  • Support and resolve system incidents, problems, and changes.
  • Design and implement reusable strategies and frameworks to support enterprise-level IAM services.
  • Onboard new applications and create custom workflows based on business requirements.
  • Create and analyze documentation of processes, guidelines, and technical specifications.
  • Utilize scripting to maintain processing scripts.
  • Encourage project teams to communicate project status and development issues.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in a related field.
Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of UNIX security related to user access and provisioning.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC concepts/tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Windows, scripting, SQL, LDAP, and web services.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with role-based access controls and automated provisioning.
  • Knowledge of IGA/IAM platforms.
  • Recognized security industry certifications.
  • Technical experience in systems integration or software engineering of IAM solutions.

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch or Professional Office Building.
