The role of a Security Officer is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of the facility. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the protection of the entire gaming establishment during the assigned shift.
- Monitoring the safety of guests and staff members.
- Compiling and submitting detailed reports.
- Acting as an escort for cash, coins, and personnel as required.
- Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation is required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Louisiana Racing Commission License and Gaming License. (Application assistance will be provided by the company.)
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age (as mandated by state and gaming regulations).
Note: The organization is currently under a mandate requiring employees to provide proof of at least one COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test every 72 hours.
