The Division Manager is a key leadership role within Waste Pro, responsible for overseeing the growth and development of a single division. This position requires a strong leader who can build rapport with internal and external customers, including employees, businesses, and municipal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all accounting functions, including fiduciary, purchasing, budgetary, forecast, and financial planning responsibilities.
- Provide client support and meet with the Regional Vice President to discuss matters.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with managers, drivers, helpers, mechanics, and office staff.
- Mentor and develop staff by overseeing department managers to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment efforts and new personnel training to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Develop and review budgets, analyze yearly projections, and identify cost savings plans.
- Assist in developing and implementing annual goals and initiatives.
- Identify and implement process and control improvements.
- Implement and oversee special projects.
- Maintain relationships with municipal staff and develop new relationships for future growth.
Work Environment:
This is a high-visibility position that requires a professional yet casual appearance. The work environment is mostly office and community-based settings.
