The Plumbing Sales Consultant is responsible for driving plumbing sales through diverse leads, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of the company. This role entails precise job bidding, fostering strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The position reports to the Install Manager and collaborates closely with field technicians and supervisors.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales Development: Engage in outside sales efforts targeting both club and non-club customers, with a focus on Plumbing Safety Inspections and the sewer/drain division.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a representative of the brand, upholding a professional image and adhering to company policies while operating company vehicles.
- Project Oversight: Supervise plumbing repair, sewer, and re-piping projects daily to ensure they adhere to planned schedules and contractual obligations.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with Field Drain Technicians, Sewer Supervisors, PSI technicians, and Sales Coordinators to deliver accurate solutions that meet customer and company goals.
- Client Engagement: Address contractual and job performance issues with customers and Supervisors, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Technical Proficiency: Exhibit knowledge of general plumbing practices, camera operations, drain challenges, and installation techniques using standard tools and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in residential plumbing.
- Strong understanding of plumbing principles, water distribution, and waste disposal systems.
- Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of fostering a positive company image.
- Team-oriented mindset with a readiness to assist in various business areas.
- Analytical and quality-focused, driven by results.
- Physically fit to manage workload demands.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessments and physical evaluations.
Physical Requirements
- Regular activities include sitting, handling, feeling, and typing.
- Frequent communication through speaking and listening.
