Job Description:

At Walgreens, we're committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.
  • Process prescriptions, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patients and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain PTCB certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
