Key Responsibilities- Manage and support the day-to-day operations of assigned patient care areas, including supervising nurses and support staff.
- Oversee the preparation of schedules and adjust according to patient flow, ensuring accurate forecasting and budget management.
- Develop programs to address continuous quality improvement, system enhancement, and streamlined processes, prioritizing patient experience and overall nurse performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest quality nursing care for patients and their families.
- Promote integration of multidisciplinary work groups and manage recruitment, performance, team member engagement, and retention activities.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program, with a Master's degree in a related field within 5 years of hire.
- At least 3 years of progressively more responsible experience as a registered nurse in a patient care environment.
- License to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia and American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
