We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic I to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, including hydraulic, landing gear, and fuel systems
- Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan-powered aircraft
- Assist with operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness prior to departure
- Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals
- Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies
- Document all work accomplished in a clear and concise manner
- Valid FAA-approved Airframe license or eligibility to sit for Airframe testing
- Aviation training required, including military training, aeronautical academy, or technical school training
- Proven mechanical and technical aptitude
- Proven experience using a variety of hand and/or power tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
- Corporate aviation experience on Dassault Falcon Jet, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Falcon
