ADAPT Community Network is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Attend Incident Review Committee Meetings and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in collecting and completing required paperwork and preparing incident packages for review.
- Update and maintain the OPWDD IRMA Incident Database.
- Monitor the database for information requests from OPWDD and facilitate timely responses.
- Prepare and distribute Incident Review Committee meeting minutes.
- Assist with tracking open incidents and facilitate submission of corrective action plans.
- Interface with OPWDD incident management staff as needed.
- Review weekly medical reports to ensure all incidents are reported.
- Assist with collecting and organizing statistical information related to incident reporting.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Proficiency in agency-selected software programs and email system.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and travel to all programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
- 1 year of comparable experience.
