Job Title: Compliance Specialist

ADAPT Community Network is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend Incident Review Committee Meetings and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in collecting and completing required paperwork and preparing incident packages for review.
  • Update and maintain the OPWDD IRMA Incident Database.
  • Monitor the database for information requests from OPWDD and facilitate timely responses.
  • Prepare and distribute Incident Review Committee meeting minutes.
  • Assist with tracking open incidents and facilitate submission of corrective action plans.
  • Interface with OPWDD incident management staff as needed.
  • Review weekly medical reports to ensure all incidents are reported.
  • Assist with collecting and organizing statistical information related to incident reporting.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
  • Proficiency in agency-selected software programs and email system.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and travel to all programs.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of comparable experience.
