Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance and repair procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on aircraft.
Collaborate with other aviation professionals to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient aircraft operations.
Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification is required.
FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) is preferred, but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of an FAA-approved aviation maintenance program or equivalent training is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an A&P Technician in general aviation.
In-depth knowledge of general aviation aircraft systems, components, and operations.
Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and guidelines for aircraft maintenance and repair.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
Valid driver's license.
