Quality Manager Job Description

At ATR International, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our quality control efforts and ensure compliance with established standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory standards.
  • Lead a team of quality engineers, supervisors, and inspectors to meet or exceed quality control requirements.
  • Directly responsible for creating and maintaining a quality management system that meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Lead external audits, address findings, and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data to determine yields and establish quality of in-process and finished products.
  • Identify and drive quality control goals and objectives, and coordinate with operations and manufacturing departments to maximize product quality and minimize costs.
  • Interface with the corporate quality group for escalations, procedures, reporting, and quality tools.
  • Prepare and present management reviews to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Drive the CAPA program to eradicate issues permanently and manage the MRB and RMA programs to keep them below established targets.
  • Oversee calibration programs, ESD control, NCMR control, and regular internal audits to ensure a robust quality control system.
  • Interface with customers to represent the company for internal and external quality failures.
  • Manage and maintain the environmental health and safety program, and drive sustainability projects under corporate directives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen projects, Gemba walks, and 5S disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • At least seven (7) years' experience as a Quality Manager in a PCBA and Mechanical EMS environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Proficient with PC-based software, including Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Kaizen and lean manufacturing techniques, 6 sigma green belt or better.
  • Direct management and implementation of at least one ISO standard.
  • Experience with developing and documenting procedures and using quality engineering methods in inspection.
