Job Title: Regional Automation Specialist

UFP Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and improving automated machinery and processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation and robotics solutions, including robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify areas for automation and robotics implementation, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed automation projects, providing recommendations on the potential benefits and risks involved.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to regional teams during the implementation and testing phase of automation projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of automation and robotics systems, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience and expertise in automation and robotics, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex automation challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
