Overview:
The Customer Service Representative is tasked with ensuring prompt, accurate, and timely responses to customer inquiries and issues that arise in the typical business operations of Cleaver-Brooks.
Role Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will assist both internal and external clients by providing solutions to account-related questions, inquiries regarding shipping statuses, material orders, technical applications, problem resolution, and other related concerns.
Qualifications:
Education:
An Associate's degree in a Business or Technical field is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of relevant Customer Service or Call Center experience is required. Candidates with five or more years of related experience may be considered in lieu of educational qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently resolve customer complaints through various communication channels, including phone and email.
- Provide customers with insights regarding orders, quotes, shipping dates, services, and general technical support.
- Act as a liaison between customers, field sales personnel, and internal staff at Cleaver-Brooks.
- Direct customers to the appropriate internal resources as necessary.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer inquiries, returns, complaints, and errors to ensure proper follow-up.
- Foster positive professional relationships with all functional teams within Cleaver-Brooks and its operational facilities.
- Exemplify the core values and principles of Cleaver-Brooks in all customer and field interactions.
- Utilize intellect, creativity, adaptability, judgment, and management skills to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure that tasks and company projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Support colleagues and management with both internal and external projects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires some simple but rapid hand operations and basic muscular movements.
Work Environment:
Normal office, shop, or field conditions with occasional minor discomforts. Minimal exposure to hazards.
