Position Overview:
The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for conducting neurodiagnostic assessments in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists.

This role includes setting up tests, applying electrodes, and ensuring patient safety during significant clinical events, along with other related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct neurodiagnostic procedures following established protocols.
  • Prepare equipment and apply electrodes accurately.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the testing process.
  • Provide detailed findings and analyses in line with facility policies.
Essential Skills:
Excellent communication skills are crucial for this position, enabling effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a 12-hour day shift, typically from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, including on-call duties and rotating weekend shifts approximately every 8-10 weeks.

Qualifications:
- BLS Certification
- Registered EEG Technologist or registry eligible per ABRET Guidelines (registry preferred within two years)
- An Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred, or a graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program with at least a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent achievement.
