The Daytime Custodian plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for all members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously clean and sanitize restrooms, locker areas, fitness machines, and gym floors.
- Ensure locker rooms are stocked with essential supplies.
- Properly dispose of waste and keep trash receptacles in order.
- Dust and clean elevated surfaces such as ceiling fans, televisions, and rafters.
- Notify the Club Manager of any damaged or missing amenities.
- Adhere to the Lost and Found Policy, returning lost items to the Club Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience in custodial services is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to independently address and resolve issues.
- Effective interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shifts.
- Occasional lifting of items over 80 pounds.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
- Regular cleaning and sanitizing duties.
- Ability to maneuver in various positions to complete tasks.
