Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a PCU RN Resident. As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing exceptional care and support in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
About the Role:This 30-bed step-down unit specializes in caring for cardiac, neurology, and stroke patients. As a PCU RN Resident, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities:- Provides direct nursing care to patients, including titration of medications, telemetry monitoring, and heart failure management.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions to enhance patient care.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
