We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Concrete Crew Foreman to join our team at Ferguson Construction Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the activities of our concrete trade crew, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise the activities of the concrete trade crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and coordinate the construction process, including the procurement of materials and tools, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve problems and improve construction methods.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that it meets the required standards and adheres to the crew schedule.
- Direct subgrade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms.
- Perform any basic forming activity and know all accessories to the forming system.
- Responsible for proper materials and methods for patching and rubbing of walls.
- Properly perform concrete flatwork preparation, forming, placement, curing, and saw cutting.
- Responsible for all types of site concrete activities, including paving, sidewalks, curbs, footings, foundations, and retaining walls.
- Know the use of advanced concrete construction materials, fasteners, and equipment.
- Ability to layout footings, piers, walls, stairs, and sidewalks.
- Responsible for proper use of all personal protective equipment for the crew.
- Valid driver's license
- 30 Hour OSHA card
- Rough terrain forklift certification
- Aerial Lift certification
- First Aid and CPR
The physical demands of this job include standing, reaching, climbing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talking or hearing. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
