Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles, including cars, vans, or trucks, for the purpose of transporting supplies, materials, and laundry to clients' residences.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as agency standards and guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards during transportation activities.
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including fueling, cleaning, and basic repairs as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in work habits.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to transportation and safety.
  • Capability to operate various types of vehicles safely.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a delivery or transportation role.
  • Competencies:
  • Empathetic and responsive to the needs of others, especially in emergency situations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to follow and comprehend instructions accurately.
  • Physically and mentally fit to perform job duties.

Travel Requirements:

  • Position requires a significant amount of travel.
