About Fenner Dunlop Americas: We are a subsidiary of the Michelin Group, specializing in the design and production of a comprehensive range of bulk material handling conveyor belts globally. Our mission is to be the leading provider of the safest and most dependable conveyor belting solutions and services across various heavy industrial sectors, including coal mining, hard rock mining, sand, gravel, wood handling, power generation, and pulp and paper. With over 150 years of experience, we manufacture North American made belting at our facilities throughout the United States and Canada, ensuring robust solutions for diverse conveyor applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
- Track and uphold daily production targets.
- Communicate production objectives to team members at the beginning of each shift.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, addressing status, challenges, and metrics.
- Generate job travelers and receipts.
- Monitor and rectify ERP entries.
- Coordinate information sharing during shift transitions with fellow supervisors and management.
- Ensure equipment and tools operate safely and effectively.
- Submit work orders for necessary maintenance repairs.
Team Leadership:
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Encourage open dialogue, teamwork, and mutual respect among team members.

Training and Development:

Quality Assurance and 5S Methodology:
- Educate employees on 5S principles and ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of 5S practices, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and ownership of 5S principles.
- Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
- Inspect production outputs to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document non-conformities and manage deviations.
- Analyze quality defects and implement corrective measures.
Customer Interaction:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with employees and stakeholders.
- Exhibit a commitment to customer service, providing support with a genuine desire to assist.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring a positive and responsive interaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental requirements.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by plant management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Associate's degree in Business, Management, or a related field with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Willingness to work shifts, particularly second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Proven leadership skills with effective team management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of safety and quality regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced computer skills.
