Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients with mental illness, developing individualized plans to meet their unique needs. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient biopsychosocial needs, performing charge nurse duties, and facilitating group programming.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient biopsychosocial needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Perform charge nurse duties, including supervising nursing staff and implementing care plans
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate group programming to promote patient engagement and recovery
  • Interact respectfully with patients, maintaining professional boundaries and promoting a positive therapeutic environment
  • Provide input on patient progress and recommend changes to treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in discharge planning with patients and other team members to ensure a smooth transition to community-based care
Requirements
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota
  • Experience working in a mental health setting is preferred
