Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive conflict assessments on prospective clients, cases, and lateral hires utilizing electronic databases.
  • Evaluate potential conflicts and effectively communicate findings along with recommended solutions.
  • Oversee new matter documentation and ensure precise client/matter records.
  • Prepare engagement agreements, conflict waivers, and ethical screening memoranda for evaluation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and conflicts counsel to address and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification, coupled with relevant experience in a law firm setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a law firm's conflicts department; this is not an entry-level position.
  • At least 2 years of familiarity with professional responsibility and legal ethics regulations related to conflicts.
  • Proficient in Intapp or similar conflicts management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently while delivering accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adeptness in prioritizing tasks.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to adapt to changes in workflows and procedures.
  • Critical thinking and decisive problem-solving skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Compensation: Salary range of $60,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience for this fully remote role.

While this position is remote, occasional travel to the client's office may be required.
