Johnstown Heights Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a skilled Intake Nurse/Clinician to join our Admissions team on a part-time basis, working weekends from 7am to 7pm. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate the intake and admission process for incoming patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Perform insurance benefit verifications and disseminate information to patients, their families, and internal staff.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' status and provide accurate and timely recommendations for care.
- Collaborate with medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate admissions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all admissions processes.
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, mental health, or a related field.
- Three or more years of experience in mental/behavioral health, preferably in a clinical or observational capacity.
- Experience in managed care pre-certification, level of care assessments, and utilization is highly desirable.
