Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior staff to design and develop telecommunications, security, and audio-visual construction documents.
  • Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents, with a focus on technology requirements.
  • Develop expertise in the latest design software, including Revit and BIM modeling.
  • Conduct site condition surveys and review contractor submittals.
  • Support multiple design teams and deliver results, managing time and contributions effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Produce high-quality work using technology and methodologies that drive innovative approaches to building design.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the installation and maintenance or design and specification of technology systems, preferably in government, healthcare, higher education, science, and technology sectors.
  • Fundamental understanding of inside-plant (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) telecommunications design.
  • Thoroughness in design coordination and contract document development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-office technology systems group.

Compensation and Benefits
