Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and conduct medically prescribed speech-language pathology treatment programs in an inpatient rehabilitation facility setting. This role will also involve supervising students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations of patients' abilities and design personalized intervention plans.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures, modalities, and equipment to improve patient function.
  • Ensure efficient management of work processes by completing tasks and assignments by time standards.
  • Complete post-intervention activities, including session closure, documentation, communication, and charge capture.

Requirements

  • Completion of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Current state licensure as a speech-language pathologist.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
