About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify rehabilitation needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
