The position of Commercial Lines Account Executive involves overseeing, maintaining, and expanding a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients. As the primary contact for these clients, you will deliver tailored insurance solutions that align with their unique business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and cultivate a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Assess clients' business operations, risk management strategies, and existing insurance arrangements.
  • Design, present, and execute personalized insurance solutions.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with insurance providers on behalf of clients.
  • Foster robust relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Serve as a mediator between clients and insurance providers during claims and other inquiries.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory updates, advising clients as necessary.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in a commercial lines account executive role or similar within the insurance sector.
  • Possession of a Property and Casualty license is mandatory.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with agency management software, ideally Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360.
  • In-depth knowledge of various commercial insurance products.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and carriers.
  • Capability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for creating professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
