As a Life Enrichment Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing personalized life skills programs for our residents. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our seniors.
Responsibilities- Evaluate resident interests and involvement in life skills programs
- Develop and implement life skills programs tailored to each resident's unique needs and abilities
- Engage residents in life skills activities throughout the day and evening
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of life skills programming supplies
- As applicable, assist residents with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the life skills program
- One year of experience working with memory impaired seniors
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification(s) may be required per state regulations
- Ability to motivate and encourage residents; knowledge of how to adapt life skills to the cognitive and functional ability of each resident
- Ability to inspire and motivate volunteers and fellow team members to engage residents in meaningful activities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities; possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational and time management skills; demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision; basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office
