Chief Clinical Officer Job Description

Job Summary

The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is responsible for the development, staffing, and provision of services to all patients/clients of Maryhaven. The CCO assures that programs operate according to the policies and procedures of Maryhaven and the standards of licensing, credentialing, and funding authorities under which Maryhaven operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services that meet the needs of our patients/clients.
  • Supervise and manage a team of clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including administration, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets for clinical programs and services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling or social work.
  • Independent practitioner in the provision of mental health and substance abuse services.
  • Minimum of six (6) years experience as upper level manager in the mental health or chemical dependency treatment field.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Valid State of Ohio LISW, LPCC, LICDC licensure or their equivalents.
