Position Overview
We are currently seeking committed individuals for the role of Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) during the evening shift from 2 PM to 10 PM. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing and documenting all assigned tasks during your shift; promptly reporting any incomplete tasks to the nursing supervisor.
- Engaging in effective communication with residents, their families, department heads, and the Director of Nursing as needed.
- Assisting residents with essential daily activities, including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, and toileting.
- Ensuring that all activities of daily living (ADL) documentation is accurately completed by the end of your shift.
- Administering treatments, conducting tests, performing procedures, and collecting specimens as instructed.
- Recording observations, test results, and outcomes of procedures in a timely manner.
- Providing support with transferring, transporting, and escorting residents as required.
- Responding promptly to call lights and attending to the needs of residents.
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment by changing bed linens, making beds, and tidying up resident rooms.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in roles such as CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA.
- A current Texas license for Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is mandatory.
