Job Summary

Odin Properties is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the financial performance of the assigned community is met.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of leasing, occupancy, and retention performance.
  • Ensure all rent is collected as due and posted correctly in the property management software system.
  • Manage and distribute tenant correspondence electronically, including late payment notices.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to manage maintenance requests and order supplies.
  • Market available units, schedule appointments, and show properties to prospective tenants.
  • Develop and maintain positive community and resident relations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma; College degree and professional certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in multi-unit apartment leasing and property management.
  • Experience with real estate property management software (Yardi preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and ability to function independently and as part of a small team.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented work habits with a commitment to a high-quality work product.
  • Excellent record keeping and file maintenance skills.
  • Able to prioritize workloads and oversee multiple projects with a sense of urgency.
