Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Machining), your responsibilities will include:
  • Demonstrated experience in machining processes such as broaching, milling, turning, EDM, and grinding of high-temperature alloys.
  • Lead specific projects that necessitate a broad spectrum of experience.
  • Formulate strategies to ensure that technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines are adhered to.
  • Provide critical manufacturing insights by calculating production, labor, and material expenses.
  • Develop and distribute comprehensive work instructions (routers).
  • Collaborate with external entities and support functions to coordinate efforts that align with client expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and machinists to clarify project requirements.
  • Work with management to establish realistic yet challenging objectives.
  • Assist the Senior Manufacturing Engineer and/or Manager in organizing work activities for the team.
  • Exhibit self-motivation to derive solutions within a reasonable timeframe and budget.
  • Innovate new solutions under guidance or within a team environment, drawing from established precedents.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a machining setting.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the capability to obtain necessary security clearance.

  • Previous experience with cutting tools.
  • Familiarity with equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in CNC turning and/or milling programming.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, preferably Unigraphics.
  • Understanding of CLM (probing, tool-setting, machining environments).
