Position Overview:
This remote role is ideally suited for candidates located in the San Francisco, California area. The Senior Account Executive is a dynamic, results-oriented sales professional responsible for identifying and closing direct sales opportunities, enhancing existing accounts, and collaborating closely with regional partners. This individual will devise and execute a comprehensive strategy to maximize the potential of Precisely's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Precisely's offerings and the approved sales methodologies.
- Assist the Head of Financial Services and fellow Account Executives in alignment with the Financial Services strategy.
- Formulate and implement business plans to drive revenue growth within designated territories.
- Collaborate with Value Added Distributors, Technology Partners, account managers, and channel partners to secure large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Work in tandem with Precisely's Pre-sales and Professional Services teams to develop compelling business proposals based on our solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Precisely's partner agreements and policies.
- Utilize Precisely's Salesforce CRM to document sales processes throughout the sales cycle.
- Enhance channel and territory performance by recruiting, training, and supporting partners.
- Execute a strategic growth and management plan for a designated territory of accounts in the United States.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred) within Capital Markets and Banking.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Aptitude for building relationships at all levels with prospects, clients, partners, and within Precisely.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proven B2B sales abilities and determination to close deals.
- Familiarity with the Mainframe and data & analytics ecosystem.
- Passion for solution selling and a track record of achieving client-focused business outcomes.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to understanding clients' businesses, collaborating to propose innovative solutions that enhance data integrity.
- Extensive knowledge of Financial Services data management and its application in decision-making processes.
- Preferred experience in Enterprise Software and SaaS, with a consultative selling approach.
- Successful history of selling a diverse range of products/services in a global context.
- Experience engaging with Banks, Exchanges, and Capital Markets is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales environments and support large-scale Financial strategic account development.
