Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced aircraft maintenance leader to serve as the Level 3 senior aircraft maintenance manager for the Strike Flight Test Operations (FTO) team at Edwards AFB, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure all maintenance, modification, and configuration actions are completed to support program goals.
  • Manage staffing, assignments, cost, schedule, and budget with Program leadership and secure parts and materials as necessary.
  • Oversee test planning efforts and support working groups with all IPTs associated with testing.
  • Ensure accurate test article configurations and coordinate all test modifications.
  • Manage organization's test activities and personnel support, prioritize tasks, and oversee the strategic long-term planning of test engineering & ground operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 9 years of related experience OR a Master of Science in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related experience.
  • 3+ years' experience managing a team.
  • US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience in a developmental/operational test maintenance environment.
  • Experience in a US Air Force Combined Test Force.
  • Experience leading an aircraft operation under DCMA Instruction 8210 oversight.
