  • Monitor and track broken appointments to minimize disruptions and optimize scheduling.
  • Verify insurance coverage, process insurance claims (EOBs, pre-determinations), and communicate clearly with patients regarding their financial responsibilities.
  • Develop and present clear treatment plan options to patients, ensuring they fully comprehend their choices and next steps.
  • Monitor patient progress, follow up on treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of patient care.
  • Assist with billing procedures, collect payments from patients (cash, credit card, check), and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct, complying with all applicable state, federal, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a dental or healthcare setting, with a focus on front desk operations and treatment coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear and effective patient interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes is highly desirable.
  • A genuine commitment to providing outstanding patient care and customer service.
