About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Supervisor to join our team at Rite-Hite. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide first-level and second-level technical support for various computer hardware and software, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT Support Technicians, assigning and prioritizing workload, and providing coaching and staff development.
  • System Administration: Administer the building access, video surveillance, and security systems for our facility.
  • Process Improvement: Work with business leaders to identify potential IT support process improvements and implement recommendations.
  • Incident Management: Maintain an accurate service repair history through the creation of incident tickets and make recommendations for servicing equipment.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external vendors to ensure seamless IT support and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience in IT technical support and business operations, including analysis, design, documentation, system audits, project/support management, industry best practices, and standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Certifications: Familiarity with ITIL and experience with Rite-Hite's standard software and hardware.
