EnergySolutions is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee vendor performance to ensure acceptance of products and services.
  • Develop and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Perform and document inspections, including dimensional inspections, in-process inspections, receipt inspections, and release inspections.
  • Review inspection results and complete reports in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Provide direction and guidance to vendors on quality control matters.
  • Support the resolution of nonconforming conditions.
  • Collaborate with the QC team to ensure that all quality control activities are properly documented and recorded.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering design drawings, including standard weld symbols.
  • Demonstrated ability to properly use various measuring and test equipment.
  • Detailed knowledge of developing inspection plans and source verification plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and AWS codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
