Job Overview

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for executing a range of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, testing, fabrication, and inspection of various products in both standard and specialized environments to ensure a seamless workflow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
  • Install insulation on production units according to specifications and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring devices, and light equipment effectively.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of products at workstations.
  • Conduct quality checks, identify product defects, and document any issues found.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Adhere to quality standards and established safety protocols during all tasks.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe at all times.
  • Perform additional duties in various departments as needed based on workload.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Capable of working in a standing or seated position for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, sleeves, and masks may be required for extended periods.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. If lacking a diploma or GED, 6 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
