Job Summary

This is a seasonal position that offers graduate students the opportunity to work in municipal government administration. The selected candidate will be placed in various areas of City government to assist in research, policy development, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct management surveys and studies of City agencies, analyzing organizational structure, manpower, and resource requirements.
  • Implement research designs, analyzing background information and goals to recommend possible research designs.
  • Review current policies and procedures, recommending changes as appropriate.
  • Apply statistical techniques to analyze research findings and prepare recommendations based on the results.
  • Prepare correspondence to outside agencies and citizens to gather information and respond to inquiries.
  • Write and present narrative reports presenting research results and conclusions.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have completed a four- or five-year baccalaureate degree program and be enrolled in an accredited graduate program. This position is not eligible for benefits.
